Russia Becomes Kudo Powerhouse
Russia gets ready to host the Kudo world championship, showcasing a diverse combat sport that’s rapidly growing in popularity. The Kudo world championship is about to get underway in Moscow. Kudo is one of the world’s youngest martial arts, combining various ancient fighting techniques, and is the fastest growing combat sport in Russia. Sergey Arzhakov, five-time world Kudo champion, speaking Russian: “People may get a little confused, thinking Kudo is just a combination of different techniques – saying it’s boxing plus wrestling plus something else – it’s not. Kudo is much more complicated.
